Shipping Information

Shipments:
Most orders are shipped via UPS, unless an item that needs to be shipped motor freight is part of the order. Most UPS orders are shipped out the same day that they are placed if received by 12:00 p.m. M-F Central time.  Occasionally an item may be drop shipped from the manufacturer (custom items or larger items), which will require extra time.

Shipping Charges are estimated at checkout.  All shipping charges are to be paid by the customer. This includes: UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, Oversized Shipping, Additional Handling, Special Packaging.  All product weights listed are approximate weights and may not be the actual shipping weight once products are packaged. Aerosols must be shipped via ground service per UPS regulations. If there is a significant difference between the quoted shipping charge and the actual charge, you will be contacted prior to shipment. 

 

To Pick Up your items at our Keota or Tipton, Iowa location:

  • Place your items in the shopping cart.  
  • Select "Customer Pickup" in the Shipping Preference drop down box during checkout.
  • Add a comment during the checkout process, with the date you would like to pick up your order. (See note below for Tipton, Iowa pickup)
  • Tax will be calculated on applicable items based on location of receipt of product.
  • We will contact you when your order is ready, and if any items are on backorder.


Note: Delivery to our Tipton, Iowa locaton varies.  We will contact you when the items are ready to be picked up at Custom Builders in Tipton, Iowa..

 

Situations in which your freight can not be calculated online:
When ordering oversized items or orders over 150 pounds.
International Shipment

 

International Shipments:
We do accept some international orders (depending on the items ordered). These can only be paid for by credit/debit card.  If requested, you will be notified of shipping charges before the order is finalized.  Excise duties and/or excise taxes may be imposed by your country on orders shipped from the USA. All customs fees and import duties are payable by the recipient.
